America Promoting Flag Football Is Terrible

I've noticed over the years that, America is slowly making football truly soft. It's terrible. Absurd.

Soft flags, protecting quarterbacks. The list truly goes on.

I wonder, why aren't people up in arms about boxing? Where are the rule changes? Why is there not like a slap version of the sport? Why don't we all tell boxers to go play tag?

Why is flag football going to even be sport or in the Olympics in 2024???

When you eliminate the aggression, what even is this 'sport'?

Flag football is a sport Americans played at like, the age of 4 to learn the basics of real football basically.

Even as a kid, I kind of actively avoided playing flag football because it was so soft. It was a game for wussies. I wanted the real thing.

In the NFL nowadays, they say speed is everything. I can't help but ask, why?

Why is speed everything in a sport that, forever, speed was not the main aspect of the sport. It was a fairly big aspect but not the main thing. If I have to hear another 'speed kills' quote I think I'll throw up.

Football was a sport for tough, muscled individuals. Why is the sport being attacked? Watch track, soccer, golf. Why is this manly sport being targeted? I mean should I say my real opinion or will I be labeled....

Mike Alstott would be freaking banned for life in 2024. What is going on?

The only reason that the running game in football is going by the way side is because of truly unhinged rule changes about 'lowering your head'.

The passing game is not becoming prominent naturally. Far from it. The only way to move the ball is through the air. It's dangerous to run the ball because of rule changes. That's it.

People say because of head injuries and CTE. Bro, nobody is forcing anyone to play football.

I wonder, what would society look like when ALL contact sports are removed? MMA, american football, boxing, rugby, ice hockey, lacrosse, wrestling.

Do we want a society where men are to ignore instincts to even rough house? Should we just give men a baby bottle and chain our legs and arms together?

Disgusting.

I don't hate flag football, it can be a sport, whatever.

But the promoting of flag football, the rule changes in traditional American football seems extremely weird to say the least.

Typing in an extra word to simply appease vocab Nazis is a bit tiresome so I am going to call the sport simply football sometimes. I will put in 'American' sometimes. England started the word 'soccer' for the record.

Football is a sport for tough guys man. Bringing this rough, tough aspect out of the game disturbs me.

Is it even impressive to be fast in football when the only reason speed demons see success is because defenders can't actually hit them? How is that actual talent? Loads of people are fast man. A real athlete can be fast tough, strong etc.

Where is the body shaming in flag football? Why aren't the woke people up in arms about this? There is really not much room for big lineman in flag football is there?

This soft mentality is even infecting video games.....
