Albert Pujols 2006 Upper Deck Season Highlights MLB Baseball Card

I'm glad I was able to watch Albert play in his prime. An amazing talent who basically accomplished everything you can as a player. One of the greatest of all time.

I like this snapshot, I wonder if the dude in the crowd shouting happily right next to Albert's helmet knows he's on this card? He was watching a legend in his prime have an epic performance, I'd be excited too. Awesome moment.

I mean this description says it all, what an absolute problem pitching to Albert was in the 2000's.

Literally from 2001-2010 the man was a top tier NL MVP candidate. He won the award three times in this span. Also in that span, he placed second in MVP votes in four other seasons. He was top ten in MVP votes every other year in this span as well. Really insane looking back on it.

This is the very game the card speaks of. Never knew watching an old baseball game could be so chill.

Wish I had the time to just watch old games in full but, no time right now. Hopefully some day soon. I did learn though from watching the first few minutes that, this game was also on Easter! Pretty nice gift for the fans by Albert. I also watched Albert's walk off homer. It is so cool to re-live this moment even if I'm not a Cardinals fan.

The number one song back when Albert smacked three homers was 'Bad Day' by Daniel Powter. 19 years ago. This song was insanely popular and I'm sure it still lives on the radio to some extent. I'm certain this tune is playing on some radio station somewhere out there. I wonder if this song will live on forever? This dude may be a one hit wonder to most, but this dude is set for LIFE after this track. Not even just financially, but this song is so big I am sure he's at least decently artistically satisfied his song is as gigantic as it is in popularity.
