A's win series over Rockies but get crushed in series finale | J.T. Ginn to start home series opener vs Pirates

Well, the A's were ultimately successful in this past Rockies series.

Saturday's game was pretty good for the A's as they won 7-5. Alika Williams was the player of the game there as he went 3-3 with a walk and an RBI. Joey Estes wasn't too great on the mound but meh, I suppose he ate up some innings at least.

The Las Vegas Ballpark circumstances only impacted the series in the series finale, but the impacts were pretty severe! The A's got absolutely memorably smoked, crushed, destroyed, annihilated, pulverized, yesterday in their 23-9 loss!!!! Willi Castro of the Rockies went 4 for 6 with two homers and seven RBI! Hunter Goodman was 5 for 6 with two homers and four RBI!!! The Rockies totaled 24 hits.

Two different A's pitchers gave up six runs, two more gave up four. Truly nuts. I was previously saying the minor league stadium was overrated in terms of it being too easy for big leaguers, but man I think I may have spoke too soon LOL.

Tonight the A's face a pretty evenly matched team as the A's, at least record wise, in the Pittsburgh Pirates. The A's come in 35-36 and the Pirates are 36-36. J.T. Ginn gets the start. The team is back in West Sacramento so, hopefully the pitchers can catch a bit of a break HA.
