76ers win an OT thriller in Memphis on Tuesday! | Sixers in Dallas tonight to take on Mavs
Well Tuesday's game was pretty suspenseful, but ultimately the Sixers found a way to win in overtime! One of the more fun games of the season for sure! The Big Three played and looked pretty good on the court AND they all played big minutes. Maxey, Embiid, and George played a collective average of 40 minutes and combined for 85 points. V.J. Edgecombe actually had a massive game as he dropped 25 and hit essentially the game winning shot in overtime! For once I can kinda see how this Sixers roster can look when even slightly clicking. If two of the Big Three have strong outings, hopefully at least the third member of the Big Three OR another Sixer can have a nice night, this Sixers team has some impressive potential. This was a very respectable step in the right direction.
I am becoming a bigger and bigger fan of V.J. Edgecombe man! I hope he continues to excel. He could be the exact player this roster has needed! He is a superb athlete who can do a little bit of everything. Can jump out of the gym and his three point shooting has been better than I anticipated! He appears to be mature as well.
Tonight the Sixers play in their fourth consecutive road game to take on the Mavs, a team the Sixers just beat on December 20th.
After briefly bouncing back after a rough start to their season, the Mavs have seemingly returned to their losing ways. They've lost five of six but interestingly, their one victory in that time came against the Nuggets while Nikola Jokić was still healthy.
The Mavs are desperate for a win, while the Sixers need to show some more consistency. It looks fairly optimistic that all three of the Big Three will be playing AGAIN. Pretty good!!
