76ers lose two brutal games in a row.
Man, this rollercoaster of a season only continues on. The Sixers are fighting pretty well still, but they're just lacking a bit of firepower right now.
The Sixers almost got some revenge Friday, but they ended up losing a thriller by just three points against the Nuggets thus ending their four game winning streak.
Last night, the Sixers fell short again against another championship caliber team and rival Boston Celtics. The Sixers had no business losing that game considering they had a 26 point lead but they ended up choking in the fourth quarter in a big way. Not a great way to start February. Of course this is a team game but I can't help but feel bad for Tyrese Maxey, the guy is trying to carry the team the best he can and I can tell he's really trying to win.
I am not even truly mad at the Sixers right now, they're just in a really tough spot. Sixers are still in striking distance of a play-in position at least.
Tomorrow, the Sixers face the Mavericks who just made a seriously wild trade recently when they sent Luka Doncic to LA and received Anthony Davis. Davis is likely not playing quite yet but, it's still interesting to see the Mavs first hand and maybe see the vibe of that team after such an all-time trade.
Weird times for not just the Sixers, but the NBA. Sixers up and down, a lot of trades. Fun stuff.
Of course still...
