The Sixers bounced back well and got a clean victory over the Pacers on Friday. As I was hoping, Joel Embiid looked locked in after his poor performance against the Lakers. He shot really well from the field and looked as dominant as I've seen him in awhile! The Sixers were without Tyrese Maxey due to an illness and it was super cool to see Embiid step up. Paul George even stepped up too as he poured in 23 including hitting a crazy shot while being fouled! This was sick!

It was great to see the players the Sixers are paying so much actually step up in a big way.

Tonight the 14-10 Sixers are on the road to face the 14-12 Hawks who have lost three of four and are certainly looking for a win. A win over the Sixers would be ideal from their perspective as the Eastern Conference is extremely competitive at the moment. The Sixers are currently actually sitting as the fourth seed by a hair but man that's nice to see. Every win is crucial right now!

After tonight, the Sixers won't play again until the 19th. They recently already had a four day break between the 7th to 12th (8th, 9th, 10th, 11th). So in general the team has had a light workload. This relaxed pace won't last forever though as starting the 19th the Sixers will play a lot of games with little rest. In all of January there's only one two day rest period between games. Basically, the Sixers will be playing a lot of games around the corner here.

Maxey is still out tonight, Embiid is questionable, I believe George is playing sooooo yeah. Should be a competitive game. The Sixers played the Hawks November 30th and lost in double overtime.

Titans and Sixers will be on at basically the same time today, fun times!
