The Sixers earned a pretty thrilling victory on Sunday, and it felt great to enjoy that after the Titans lost yet again.

The Sixers almost blew the game after having some pretty substantial leads in moments, LaMelo Ball was cooking and was really good in helping the Hornets stage a respectable comeback. But the Sixers showed heart of their own and they got it done in OT!

ROOKIE first round draft pick Jared McCain is looking like a slam dunk of a draft selection. He recorded a career high of 27 points and was clutch on both ends of the floor in his best game as a pro by far.

The win was needed and proved real quick the Sixers can be a bit competitive without Embiid and Maxey. Right when the Sixers showed a slight spark Joel Embiid is back tonight! This is just going to add to the team's momentum from Sunday.

The Sixers are 2-7 so the timing is perfect for Joel to be back. Let's hope he's inspired to play some of the best basketball of his career. He's in his prime, he's had multiple years with some different stars and all types of rosters in general. Time for Joel to prove if he can be in the true upper echelon of NBA greats and win an NBA Championship.

It's a fun game for Embiid to make his return against the rival New York Knicks. Always want to beat them. Long time Timberwolf Karl Anthony-Towns is now a Knick, it will be fun to watch him and Embiid go at it in the East this season. Mikal Bridges is also a new face in New York. New York is an interesting team with the fairly abrupt rise of star Jalen Brunson.

In general it is going to be nice to see how Embiid and Paul George play together. A dang shame no Maxey right now but this game will still be beneficial. Let's see how McCain and Yabusele and the whole roster play together with Embiid on the floor. Maxey missing time is massive but the whole team has to gel well in order to win a championship.
