76ers drop to 2-9 on Wednesday, Sixers in Central Florida to face the Magic tonight

The Sixers lost again on Wednesday without a SINGLE one of their best three players against the undefeated Cavs on the second of back to back games. Yeah, safe to say that the odds were against Philly. Still they did play pretty well considering those obstacles and challenges. I say the Sixers were missing their three best players, but rookie Jared McCain is quickly making me wonder if this is true. He's currently outperforming Paul George that's for sure. McCain dropped a career high 34 points on Wednesday. He's only a handful of games into the season and that already a great career high. Sixers fans everywhere are getting progressively more excited about this kid!

The Sixers face a Magic team tonight that is playing well without underrated second year player Paolo Banchero. Paul George and Joel Embiid are set to play and so I actually like the team's chances in this one. The Sixers have to start winning sooner rather than later here.

It is nice to see George and Embiid actually on the court. They have to get these reps in and minutes logged together. Maxey may be out but 2/3 ain't bad and the rise of McCain helps the team from a talent perspective and sort of from a play style perspective as well.

This game also marks the 76ers second game in the group stage for the NBA Cup. I still don't get the point of it. I find it a bit weird but it's just whatever really. It's for fun I guess. I suppose if a team won BOTH the Cup and the Finals, that would be kind of cool bragging rights.

This game feels sort of important. Mid-November and the Sixers are on the brink of double digit losses already. Let's see Embiid go off!

#GOSIXERS!
