It's been eight days since the Sixers have seen action and I am ready for it! It's been a rough season but I still did miss watching them play. Only 28 games left.

The last time the Sixers were on the court, they lost yet again this time to the Nets, extending their losing streak to five. Neither Embiid or Maxey played so, hopefully they're mildly extended break helps them the rest of the way.

Interestingly the Sixers did make a fun mini splash signing when they signed guard and local native Lonnie Walker IV. Pretty darn local anyway, he's from about 45 minutes to an hour outside of Philly from Reading, Pennsylvania. Close to my neck of the woods, I remember watching Lonnie win the state title. A real local legend and a very useful player. He was in Europe for a bit so hopefully this signing to Philly really is only added motivation. If he managed to become a Sixers legend somehow, the man would be a serious southeastern PA legend.

I don't think Lonnie is set to play tonight but when he does I'm going to be PUMPED.

Tonight the Sixers start off with a game against the rival, defending champ Celtics. If the Sixers want to turn this thing around, it must start tonight.
