AI don't have common sense

Hello great hivers. All good to have you back again. I believe that the topic at hand is meant to equip us to face the future, because one day it will happen that 80 % of the people who work now to earn money will lose their jobs. We need to start asking alot of questions just like the one we have before us today. When we were kids and heard about computers, how it works and all of that. I never knew that a time will come that every exam will be writing by computer. Formally when you are going for interview, it will just be done orally or written, but what do we have today? When you are going for an interview, you will be given a computer to write your exams with it. Two months back we went in search of a teaching job with Nasarawa state government and we were asked to come and write a computer based test. I had no problems with that because I have been operating the computer for almost twenty years now. But what about those who don't know how to operate a computer? That is just exactly what will happen to us in the nearest future if we don't begin to equip ourselves to face the reality.

If the labor market is over taken by AI, what do I have that can keep me going?

This is a very big question for me. The first time I saw the question, I had to stop a little to think and ask myself some questions. Do I really have anything? Can I survive it? Lots of questions like that. But when I settled down to think very well, I come to understand that no matter what, AI can not replace human being. We are too much to be replaced by AI.

We all know that AI don't have or use common sense, don't have emotions and don't also have compassion. Though they are built in such a way that they can do lots of work without breaking down or going for holidays. But no human sympathy. They don't know what The people around them are going through. So, they can't also give the solution to the problems of the people around them. But a human being sees things from the angle that others are seeing it. They have feelings and that is why they can provide solutions based on what people are passing through at that particular moment.

What about human reasoning? Common sense. In my house, I do alot of calculations. We cook food with gas, but if I noticed that we don't have enough money, I will immediately switch over to using firewood or even chachoal. All I know is that my family must eat food. But AI can't do all of that. Sometimes when I check and I noticed that for this week, we don't have enough money maybe to eat what we have in the menu, I can switch to anything good provided we have something good to eat in the family. AI can't do that. I believe that AI will just go with what has been planned and it doesn't matter to is if there is money or not. This is one of the areas that humans can do what AI can't do.

Another special thing that AI can't do is to doing a task that requires experience. Humans can give advice based on the experiences that they have gathered for years. But AI only depends on what has been given to it as information. It can't give what it doesn't have. If you meet an elderly man or woman today, he or she can put you through some things in life because of the experiences they have. AI don't have any experience.

AI also depends on us to make them and give them all the information needed for them to work properly. So where is AI without human being. We make AI. It depends on us. We buy it with our money. So, what are we talking about. So, tell me now, how can a subject do with it's god? Hahaha 😂. Case close.
